Desislava Kouzmanova was born in 1985 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2009 she graduated in Animation Directing at New Bulgarian Univesity. Her bachelor graduation short films are “S.O.S” and “Fashion”. While studying at the university she was creating t-shirts, logos, some posters and illustrations for The Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds. She also did internships in Kulevfilm Studio working on the children’s series “The River” and later on the feature film “Puk”. In 2013 she earned master degree in 3D animation at Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona, Spain. She graduated there with the short film “The Other”. There she did internships in Urano Films working on a videomaping project.
